Glenview Mayor Holds State Of The Village Address
Village President Jim Patterson will discuss challenges and opportunities before taking questions from the community Wednesday morning.

GLENVIEW, IL — Members of the Glenview community are invited to attend the State of the Village Address this week to hear Village President Jim Patterson provide an overview of important issues facing Glenview, various projects underway and plans for the future of the village. Following his speech, there will be time for questions from attendees.
The event is hosted by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, the League of Women Voters of Glenview/Glencoe and Glenview Values Project. It will take place from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Glenview Public Library on Wednesday.
RSVPs are required, as space is limited. The event is sponsored by Wintrust Community Banks, including Glenview Bank & Trust and Northview Bank & Trust.

Some of the topics Patterson said he plans to cover include the demolition of the former Village Hall, the Glen Tax Increment Financing District, Glenview's new village manager, a new water contract and infrastructure improvements, he told the Glenview Journal.
