Dolores M. Jergensen, nee Waggoner, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Glenview, IL, surrounded by love. Beloved wife of late James R. Jergensen; loving mother of Marcia Graver of Roselle, IL, Elaine (Richard) Tinberg of Winnetka, IL, and Julia (Harry) Edelman of Minneapolis, MN; loving daughter of late parents Sam and Cecelia Waggoner of Ft. Dodge, IA; loving sister of Evelyn (Tom) Millea, Patricia (Dan) Condon, late Harold Waggoner; beloved friend of Iwona (Bogdan), Emily and Natalie Zajac. Dolores leaves behind dear daughters, sisters, beloved nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, Rebecca Hofmann, Christine Tinberg, Richard Tinberg, Alexander Edelman, Jonah Edelman, and one great-grandchild, Sophia Hofmann.
Dolores’ memory and spirit will live on in all who knew and cared for her. Family memorial service Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Boulevard at Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Bright Futures Foundation, 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview, IL 60026.
