Glenview Overdose Death: Man Charged With Drug-Induced Homicide

GLENVIEW, IL — An investigation into the death of a 40-year-old woman in Glenview that began in August 2018 has resulted in an arrest. Troy Campbell, 43, of the 9500 block of Franklin Avenue, Franklin Park, is accused of drug-induced homicide, a Class X felony, and was arrested Saturday.
The investigation began on Aug. 23, 2018, following the death of Dina Doyle, of Round Lake, at Glenbrook Hospital. Campbell is accused of supplying Doyle with drugs, contributing to her death.
In March 2020, Glenview police acquired an arrest warrant for Campbell. It was learned Campbell relocated to Montgomery County, Texas, for an undetermined amount of time. At some point, Campbell returned to Illinois and was taken into custody by the Franklin Park Police Department.
