Glenview Park District Names AJ Sheth New Partnership Manager
The Glenview resident most recently spent 5 years leading sponsorship sales efforts for Hoffman Estates.

GLENVIEW, IL - From The Glenview Park District: The Glenview Park District is pleased to announce and welcome AJ Sheth as Partnership Manager. Sheth will be responsible for the leadership of all sponsorship initiatives, which includes developing new business opportunities and creating customized solutions to enhance awareness of community partners. Sheth most recently spent five years leading sponsorship sales efforts for the Sears Centre Arena and the Village of Hoffman Estates. Sponsorship programs and initiatives he launched generated more than $3 million in revenue.
“I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Glenview Park District team,” said Sheth, who is a Glenview resident. “Glenview is a fantastic community with a park district that believes in giving back to the community and that really stood out to me.”
In addition to selling naming rights and presenting sponsorship opportunities, Sheth will be tasked with securing additional park partners, the highest level of sponsorship in the district.

“The park partner opportunity allows businesses to engage and to embed the fabric of their brand within the community. We are excited to expand on this and have full confidence in A.J.’s ability,” said Jena Johnson, Director of Brand Strategies and Community Engagement.
In addition to raising awareness and visibility for the partner, a partnership with the Glenview Park District also benefits residents. The sponsorship adds value to events and programs throughout the district, inspires the human spirit and builds a stronger community. That can be seen in the park district’s first partner. Last summer, the Glenview State Bank sponsored a 10-day promotion at Roosevelt and Flick Park aquatic centers, which gave away prizes such as sunglasses, gift cards and day-passes. On the final day, the first 150 children in attendance got fidget spinners.

“One of the most energizing parts of launching our partnership program has been finding creative avenues to bring additional value to our residents. Last year, we awarded a local family a free pool pass for 2018, thanks to the support provided by Glenview State Bank, and this year we will continue to add value for our residents through partnerships that enhance their experience and support community health, wellness and education,” said Sheth.
Sheth has a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. He and his wife, an elementary school teacher in Glenview District 34, have a one-year old daughter and reside in Glenview. During downtime, Sheth enjoys spending time with his family at The Glen and traveling.
