Glenview Police Release St. Patrick's Day Enforcement Numbers

GLENVIEW, IL — The Glenview Police Department has released enforcement numbers for the recently completed St. Patrick's Day traffic safety campaign. The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" effort was mobilized by state and local law enforcement agencies across the state.
The following enforcement action was taken during the campaign, according to police:
- 21 speeding citations
- 7 seatbelt citations
- 1 child safety seat citation
- 7 other miscellaneous citations
The annual enforcement campaign was made possible by federal traffic safety funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
