Glenview Primary Election Voting Details Released: Village

Residents have several options to participate including online registration, mail ballots, early voting, and Election Day voting.

GLENVIEW, IL — With the Illinois General Primary election a little over a month away, the Village of Glenview has released details to assist residents looking to participate. The March 17 election will feature candidates for federal, state, county, and other local races.

According to the Village, the last day for online voter registration is March 1. Registration can also be completed at Glenview Village Hall, located at 2500 East Lake Ave., during weekday business hours. Township offices, any Cook County Clerk's Office, and Illinois Secretary of State's driver's license facilities also offer registration services.

Registered suburban Cook County voters may request a mail ballot online. The deadline to apply for a mail ballot is March 12. Once the application is verified and processed, a paper ballot will be sent to the designated mailing address. Mail ballots must be postmarked by March 17.

Early voting is another option for Glenview residents. Glenview Village Hall is one of many suburban sites designated for early voting in the March 17 Primary Election. Early voting at Village Hall will run daily from Monday, March 2, through Monday, March 16. Hours for early voting at Glenview Village Hall are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Voters can cast their ballot at any listed early voting location.

On Election Day, March 17, registered suburban Cook County voters can only vote in their home precinct. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Glenview Village Hall will not serve as a polling place on Election Day. Residents can find their Election Day polling place online. Same-day registration and voting will be available on Election Day for those not yet registered, requiring two qualifying forms of identification.
