New this year, attendees can try free games including pickleball, bags and mahjong. The event will also feature jiu jitsu demonstrations and a children’s concert performance, according to organizers.

A pet adoption area is also returning after a warm response last year, giving attendees a chance to meet dogs looking for homes.

At 6 p.m., the street fair will transform into Summer Fest After Sunset Music Fest, a free evening concert featuring headliner SODA and opening act Liz Berg Duo.

Food vendors will be available during the evening event, along with beer, wine and seltzer available for purchase. Organizers said Coors Light and other beverages will be available during the outdoor show.

Summer Fest After Sunset is free to attend, with a door donation benefiting the Northfield Township Food Pantry.

Summer Fest and Summer Fest After Sunset are funded by Glenview Chamber sponsors, including Busey Bank, Coors Light, RJ Bullion, J. Blanton Plumbing, Joseph Mullarkey Distributors, Lynch McPeek of Clarity Wealth, Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, Glenview Junior Titans and RJ Liquors.

VIP tickets and additional event information, including vendor details, the band lineup, parking and road closures, are available through the Glenview Chamber of Commerce website.
