Glenview Summer Festival Set for June 27 Along Jackman Park

Day-long event will offer several activities.

Over the last 4+ decades, Glenview’s Summer Festival has come a long way.

Now 42 years old, what started as a feisty sidewalk sale on Glenview Avenue has morphed into a multi-facted mid-summer celebration.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Lehigh Avenue between Glenview Road and Washington Street along Jackman Park, the free festival will offer “handcrafted wares, family activities, free treats, street performers, the Auto Show, and a little rock ‘n roll,” according to a news release.
