Glenview Village Hall Moves to Lake Avenue
Village offices will now be at same campus as police department, public works.
GLENVIEW, IL - They say you can’t fight village hall, but in Glenview, apparently you can move it.
Glenview Village Hall will be located at the Glenview Municipal Center, 2500 East Lake Ave. beginning on Monday, Dec. 14, according to the Daily North Shore. Friday marked the final day at 1225 Waukegan Road, but offices were closed so staff could move into their new spaces at the Municipal Center.

The DNS reports the village decided to move to the Glenview Municipal Center to be more efficient with other departments.
“We’re going to be much more efficient in terms of our staff,” said Don Owen, deputy village manager. “Most people will see that we’re all stuffed up into our staff. It will be a better working environment for employees.”

Village Hall includes the village’s Resolution Center, Community Development Department and Village Manager’s Office. Those officer will now join the Glenview Police Department and Public Works Department on the same Lake Avenue campus.
