Grant Award Celebration To Be Held At Petco In Glenview

WHAT: Heartland Animal Shelter received a grant award of $3,000 which will extend its ability to save animal lives in our community.

WHEN: A stakeholder and media event with Heartland Animal Shelter and the Petco Foundation will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22 to celebrate this investment.

WHERE: Petco: 2727 Pfingsten Road, Glenview, IL 60026

WHO: The Petco Foundation recognizes Heartland Animal Shelter’s success in its mission to save pets’ lives. This grant investment is part of the Petco Foundation’s recent distribution of more than $13M to animal welfare organizations nationwide. In addition, the Petco Foundation distributed $1M in emergency product and cash donations to partner organizations facing the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis and put out a national call to mobilize animal lovers to take action and Pledge to Save Pet Lives.

HOW: Heartland Animal Shelter works to rescue animals who are at risk of euthanasia and place them for adoption with loving families. The Petco Foundation’s grant investment will allow Heartland Animal Shelter to expand its adoption program in order to save the lives of more cats and dogs.
