Heather Murphy, LCPC, To Give Interactive Presentation on Childhood and Play at Glenview Public Library

"The Importance of Childhood and Play" will include an interactive display of easy DIY play projects, complete with take-home recipe cards.

Glenview, IL – On Sunday, November 16th, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Heather Murphy, of Courage To Connect Therapeutic Center, will be hosting an informative, interactive presentation at the Glenview Public Library. The presentation, titled “The Importance of Childhood and Play,” will cover the how and why of playtime, and its function in the cognitive and social growth of children. Following the presentation will be an open discussion for parents to ask questions or share their favorite playtime activities. There will also be a display table of fun do-it-yourself play materials, complete with take-home recipe cards.

“The Importance of Childhood and Play” will take place from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. This is a FREE event.
