Firm Selected to Assist in Search for New Glenview Village Manager
Todd Hileman approves contract with Waters & Company Executive Recruitment to help village find his successor.

GLENVIEW, IL - The village of Glenview has selected a recruitment firm to assist in the search for its next village manager.
A contract with Waters & Company Executive Recruitment, which has offices in Dallas and St. Paul, was approved on Dec. 2.
Outgoing Village Manager Todd Hileman was directed by the Village Board of Trustees to negotiate a contract with the firm, according to a village spokesperson. Hileman is leaving Glenview after several years with the village to become the city manager of Denton, Texas.

The firm's contract is for $24,500. The approval process for the contract was "expedited" in order to "move the process forward immediately," according to the village.
Deputy Village Manager Don Owen will serve as the interim village manager until a successor for Hileman is named, the Journal & Topics first reported.
