Man Injured In Hit-And-Run Accident In Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — An injured man in his 40s was found lying in the street Sunday following a hit-and-run accident in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The Glenview Police Department, according to a press release, received reports of the man down and were on the scene at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 18.

Police said the man's injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle. The Glenview Fire Department transported the man to Lutheran General Hospital. The involved vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival. The traffic accident remains under investigation by the Glenview Police Department.
