Holiday Stress Relief— Elderwerks Gift Wrapping Days Are Here
Volunteers Will Wrap Holiday Packages During November & December

With the holiday season just around the corner, many are getting a jump on their shopping. Elderwerks can help ease holiday stress, as local volunteers will be donating their package wrapping skills. Beginning November 3rd Gift Wrapping Days will take place on Thursdays (November 3, 10, 17, 12/1 and 12/8) from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. To accommodate the final holiday rush, additional wrapping days are also scheduled daily December 12-16 and 19-23, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Several wrapping days will also include festive events to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
Jennifer Prell, President of Elderwerks Educational Services, stated, “Our gift-wrapping program was started as a way to help our neighbors destress a little at the holidays. We are blessed with a terrific group of volunteers who make events like this possible. We hope to see many people stop by and have a little fun at our office.”
Gift Wrapping Days will take place at the Elderwerks office located at 251 East Northwest Highway in Palatine (just west of Hicks Road.) A donation of $5.00 is appreciated, and all proceeds help seniors acquire the services they need.
