Inaugural Friends Of Youth Services Fashion Show Coming to Glenview

The June 22 show will showcase original designs by Glenbrook South and Glenbrook North students.

GLENVIEW, IL — If you're looking to check out some fabulous fashion while also supporting an organization that helps local youth, the inaugural Friends of Youth Services Fashion Show has it all. The event, scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 22, at The Social Loft Event & Venue Space, 2011 Tower Drive, Glenview, will feature the work of Glenbrook South and Glenbrook North students.

In addition, organizers aid the show will feature the latest in fashion from Margo Boutique, Kendra Scott jewelry and Beauty Counter clean cosmetics. All retail items will be available for purchase after the show.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Youth Services, the Glenview-Northbrook organization that serves more than 1,800 local children each year. A generous sliding scale and scholarship program ensures no child is ever turned away from their critical services.

"We strive to have events that are entertaining and bring the community together," saidJulie Bruch, president of Friends of Youth Services. "What better way to spend an evening than viewing the latest fashion trends together with your friends. And all for the very worthy cause of raising money for Youth Services."

Event tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for those under 21, and include entry into the event, a welcome drink (age appropriate), light bites, one drawing ticket, and a small gift bag.

Additional drawing tickets will be sold onsite for more chances to win some fabulous prizes.
