Instant $100K Win For Glenview Woman

GLENVIEW, IL — A Glenview woman won a $100,000 prize from the Illinois lottery this week after buying a winning $20 scratch-off ticket at a gas station in Chicago's Edison Park neighborhood.
Eleni Athanasopoulos bought a winning "100X The Money" ticket at BP, 6405 N. Northwest Highway, and took it home to Glenview before scratching it, she told lottery officials.
“I plan to invest most of this money,” she said when she presented her ticket at the Illinois Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.

"100X The Money" is a $20 instant ticket with four top prizes of $4 million and eight prizes of $100,000 available. Two of the $4 million and three of the $100,000 prizes have yet to be claimed, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The gas station received a bonus of $1,000, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
