Kenosha Based Kitchen Cubes Makes House Calls To IL & Northshore Residents, While Providing Rare Value And Unsurpassed Service!
What do a Carpenter, a Pilot and a Pastor have in common? No, this isn’t the opening line to some lame joke with the predictable punch line-in fact, just the opposite. Believe it or not, these three career-minded men actually have a mimimum of two very important items in common.
First and foremost, they’re family. Led by their Father, Dan Molgaard over breakfast one Sunday morning back in 2009, sons Jake and Zach collaboratively decided to forego their careers to form Kitchen Cubes, a company committed to installing the most beautiful custom kitchen & bath counters, cabinets, sinks and faucets customer’s have ever experienced, while providing service second to none.
After purchasing our new (Circa 1968) home in Libertyville, Illinois 10 month’s ago, we decided it needed an HGTV style makeover to bring it into the 2000’s. After Googling several companies, one name that kept cropping up repeatedly with positive feedback and reviews was Kitchen Cubes out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
My Fiance’ and I decided that the amount of positive comments that sung their praises simply couldn’t have been just a coincidence. Our first contact with the company was with the affable and very professional Cyrus Asiani, who went out of his way to provide fast, easy answers, professional courtesy and enthusiasm. His knowledge and expertise were indicative of an employee who was treated like family.
Cyrus clearly takes pride in both his work and his ability to communicate with his client’s of which we were one. In addition to his prompt follow-up and knowledgable information, Cyrus genuinely cares about his customers. After an impressive introduction to Kitchen Cubes and subsequent conversations with Cyrus communicating the importance of our decision to convert our daughter’s bathroom from 1968 to present day, I decided that the trek from Libertyville, IL to Kenosha, was well worth it.
In fact, the trip was quick, easy and upon meeting Cyrus face to face, I was than introduced to one of the trio of partners, Jake, who like Cyrus, was not only a fountain of knowledge, but super-friendly, down to earth and great at breaking down and explaining the process for customizing the bathroom counter, sink and faucet on behalf of my daughter. Since the proof is ultimately “in the pudding” so to speak, Jake and Cyrus took my daughter’s wish list to heart: At the top of her wish list was a white Corion counter with a bright white built in sink and a nice shiny four inch faucet to top it off.
Needless to say, Jake and Cyrus hit a grand slam when it came to helping us find a counter color and materials that exceeded our expectations. Within two week’s, Dad, Dan and Jake showed up, set up shop like Pros Pro’s and I got to witness the final cuts up close and personally, which was really cool! Dan and Jake used seamless techniques to both ensure that sizing was precise and the utmost care during both the installation and post install.
In fact, what would have typically taken any other contractor’s a minimum of four hours, only took Dan and son Jake an incredibly efficient 2 hours! For busy families, that in itself is worth its weight in gold! Talk about pride of workmanship: Jake caulked using both invisible (clear) and white where necessary and Dan and Jake collaborated on the plumbing installation to ensure that the job was done right from top to bottom.
The beauty of their ability to expedite the installation without sacrificing A+ quality, underscores the fact that even busy Executives like myself could meet them at the job site during lunchtime and return to work without losing income or work time-pretty sweet and unheard of these days, where typically, folks find themselves practially begging contractor’s to show up on time (sometimes let alone at all!) Translation: None of that monkey business with Kitchen Cubes Dan, Jake, Cyrus and Zach. They stand by their credo: “We’ll treat your kitchen or bath like it’s our own.”
Not only are they sincere when they utter those words, unlike many supposed service companies that expound fancy catch phrases and one-liner’s, the guys from Kitchen Cubes actually deliver on their promises and care about quality control in ways that are rarely seen in today’s business climate, where accountability can often times be viewed as the exception rather than the rule.
Genuinely involved in the Kenosha and surrounding area community, Dan, Jake, Zach and Cyrus are a shining example of one man’s dream of owning a business (a 30 year goal), and running that company right, with no short-cuts and only the highest integrity. According to Jake: “We started as a retail kitchen and bath store, offering residential kitchens and installs. Kitchen Cubes than added a distribution facility of a stock cabinet line and currently sells at wholesale to dealers, management companies and direct to the public.”
Ulitmately, the Molgaard’s ambition morphed into a runaway freight train as the momentum increased, starting a manufacturing facility that currently makes Formica laminate countertops. “Through these steps we’ve added jobs to the community, bringing our current employee team to twenty-six staff members.”
In 2012, Kitchen Cubes was honored by being named a “Fast Five Award Winner” by the KABA and the Chamber of Commerce with a growth rate of over 70%! That trend has continued in 2013, while Kitchen Cubes continues to share their success as an integral piece of the Kenosha community.
Kitchen Cubes has backed up their belief in their community by lending their support to local charities like Police and Sheriff fundraisers, while providing Christmas Tree gifting, presents for children each holiday season and local ministries and churches. Far exceeding Dad Dan’s expectations, the Molgaard son’s, Jake and Zach have formed an effective synergy that has resulted in good will throughout the city of Kenosha cwhile setting a wonderful example of how hard work, creativity and good intentions can serve and benefit an entire community.
The Molgaards template for the American Dream could not have worked out better, even in an ever-changing economy, where being able to beautify a kitchen or bath can be expensive as well as challenging. The Molgaard’s have made the process seamless and affordable, while providing expert service, selection and high quality materials at wholesale prices to their loyal clientele.
Hence, the reason individuals and families from Illinois are also motivated to contact Kitchen Cubes for their kitchen and bath needs. The fact that Dan’s dream included surrounding himself with his two sons, only makes the realization of that dream sweeter.
