Less Than 20 'Violent Crimes' Reported in Glenview in 2014

Crime remained low in Glenview in 2014, with only 18 violent crime offenses reported all year, according to the FBI’s unified crime reports.

The violent crime offenses during the last calendar year included one reported rape, 10 robberies and seven aggravated assaults.

Among other offenses reported annually from local police departments to the FBI, in Glenview, there were 386 instances of property crimes, 105 burglaries, 276 larceny or thefts, five motor vehicle theft cases and three arsons.
