Low Foot Traffic a Problem at The Glen, Some Say
Departing business owners say the numbers have not been there.

The lack of foot traffic and notion that other businesses have been moving out is causing others to leave The Glen Town Center, according to a CBS-2-Chicago report.
The report includes dialogue with a pair of business owners disappointed in their time at The Glen.

“It was not doing the numbers…so we finally made the decision that it was time to move on,” said Pascal, a salon owner who recently closed in the Town Center and now operates only out of a location in Glencoe.
“Last few years it has just gotten worse and worse…not a lot of foot traffic, businesses moving out,” added Salerno’s Pizza Owner Mike Nabat, who is moving his business to Libertyville.

But Glen Town Center Manager Abass Kanji pointed out 37 of the 40 storefronts are occupied and all the “huge drivers of traffic” have renewed.
