Death Of Man Found In Glenview Park Ruled A Suicide
A 68-year-old Glenview man was found dead Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

GLENVIEW, IL — The death of a Glenview man whose body was found in a park Tuesday has been ruled a suicide, authorities said. Around 12:30 p.m., officers got a call of a body near a pumping station at 1800 E. Lake Ave. in Tall Trees Park, police said.
John Jerrold Miller, 68, of the 1600 block of Pebblecreek Drive, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Glenview police called in the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force, which conducts homicide investigations in northern Cook County suburbs, to assist in the investigation, according to a release.

Miller died as a result of multiple sharp force injuries, according to the medical examiner's office, which ruled his death a suicide.
