Make a Difference Day Supports Northfield Township Pantry

The Northfield Township Food Pantry is one of 12 non-profits receiving donations for our food pantry, at Make A Difference Day, a community service event arranged by the Volunteer Center of Winnetka on Saturday, October 23rd from 9:00 am- noon.

Township trustees and staff will join a corps of local volunteers at the Indian Hill Train station in Winnetka, collecting food, toiletries and paper goods to benefit our pantry clients. This event will be a safe, socially distanced drop-off , so please mark your calendar and help if you are able.

Northfield Township serves the residents living in most of Northbrook, Glenview and part of Northfield. We provide a variety of services that enrich lives while solidifying the infrastructure and safety of our communities.

Our work includes safety net services such as general/emergency assistance, an award-winning food pantry, and access to social services funded in part by the township. Our office registers voters and provides passport services. Our Assessor provides assistance with property taxation issues. The Township Road District maintains roads and bridges in unincorporated areas and operates a robust recycling program.
