Man, 78, Missing And Endangered From Glenview: Police

UPDATE: The Glenview man has been located and is safe, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

GLENVIEW, IL — A 78-year-0ld Glenview is missing and endangered, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office. Keith Newberry, 78, was last seen at around 3:15 p.m. Friday heading eastbound from his home in the 800 block of Glendale Road near Glenview.

Newberry has Alzheimer's disease and a heart condition, according to police. He may be carrying a paper with the emergency contact number for his wife in his pocket. He is described as 5 feet, 6 inches, 170 pounds, balding with brown hair on the sides, and blue eyes. He was wearing an olive green plaid shirt and black pants.

Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart is asking for the public’s help in finding Newberry. Anyone with information about Newberry's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact Cook County Sheriff's Office at (708) 865-4896.
