GLENVIEW, IL — In a video described as "shocking" by police, a man appears to pull a gun and shout profanities at a group of people Tuesday in front of Curragh Glenview, 1800 Tower Drive, Glen Town Center. The video was captured by a diner sitting at the outside patio of the restaurant.
When the video begins, a group of people are seen walking away from the restaurant, past a crosswalk. A man, separate from the group, is then observed yelling profanities in their direction. The man then appears to pull out a gun, pointing it at the group. He then shouts more profanities at them and says, "I'll light you up right now," among other things.
The person who shot the video later says that the group was “throwing up gang signs.”
