Memory Care Unites Generations With Valentine's Prom In Glenview
Middle school students from Our Lady of Perpetual Help joined residents at Emerald Place for an afternoon of music and dancing.

GLENVIEW, IL — Middle school students and memory care seniors recently celebrated Valentine's Day together. Emerald Place, an Anthem Memory Care community located at 1879 Chestnut Ave. in Glenview, hosted a Valentine Senior Prom. This event brought together residents and middle school students from Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
The afternoon included music, dancing, and intergenerational connection. Students helped residents craft corsages and boutonnieres for the occasion. A photo booth was also available to capture moments between the youth and seniors. The event concluded with the crowning of a prom king and queen.
"This was a great opportunity for our residents to recapture a wonderful moment in time," said Jaime Vahhaji, life engagement director for Emerald Place. "This underscores our commitment to meaningful engagement, bridging generations and creating memories for the seniors and students."
