Men's Grooming Shop Hammer & Nails Opens In Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — A new shop offering haircuts, beard care and spa-style grooming services for men has opened in Glenview.

The Glenview Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys to the community at 2350 Lehigh Ave.

Marketed as an alternative to a conventional barbershop, Hammer & Nails offers haircuts, beard and mustache grooming, straight-razor shaves, skin care, waxing, manicures and pedicures. Customers may purchase individual services or join one of the shop’s monthly membership programs.

A Lounge-Like Grooming Experience

The Glenview location features separate areas for barbering and hand-and-foot treatments.

According to the company, customers receiving manicures or pedicures sit in oversized leather chairs and may use noise-canceling headphones and individual televisions. Haircuts and shaves can include hot towels, essential oils and other upgraded treatments. Complimentary beverages are also offered with services.

The company describes its employees as licensed grooming artists who receive advanced education and training and use professional tools and products.

Hammer & Nails offers services à la carte as well as through three membership tiers.
