Morton Grove Man Faces Weapon, DUI Charges: Police

DUI and UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Omar Saleh, 35, of the 7400 block of Wilson Terrace, Morton Grove, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of weapon, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a crash investigation May 14 near Golf Road and Waukegan Road.

Saleh was released on $1,000 bail, and his court date is June 9.

DUI and UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Robert Johnson, 61, of the 0-100 block of North Branch Road, Northfield, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of weapon and disorderly conduct after a May 14 incident at Waukegan Road and Chestnut Avenue.

Johnson was released on $1,000 bail, and his court date is June 29.

RETAIL THEFT

Ioana Sasu, 42, of the 8400 block of Callie Avenue, Morton Grove, was arrested and charged with retail theft after a May 15 incident in the 1900 block of Tower Road.

Sasu was released on $1,000, and her court date is June 10.
