National 9 Golf Club Trailer Demolished

Glenview Park District took down the golf club's old trailer this morning to make room for a 2,600 square foot golf clubhouse.

The Glenview Park District recently announced plans to construct a brand new clubhouse at the National 9 Golf Club. But to make room for the new clubhouse, the original trailer which stood at the golf course had to go.

This morning it went.

“The National 9 trailer has always been considered a temporary clubhouse over the past eleven years and has seen the end of its useful life,” said Chuck Balling, Executive Director at the Glenview Park District in a press release.

The Park District expects construction of the new clubhouse to end in April 2013 and plans to open the golf course in time for the 2013 golfing season. The new clubhouse will be available to golfers and paddle tennis players — there will be an outdoor paddle tennis area when the golf course reopens next year.
