New Political Party Forms in Glenview
Unite Glenview will announce its first slate of candidates for village president and village trustees.

GLENVIEW, IL - A new political party established in Glenview will select its inaugural slate of candidates for the 2017 election this weekend.
Unite Glenview has met with "a group of interested citizens" and interviewed applicants for the three village trustee positions and Village President spot that is up for election in April 2017, according to a news release.
The group will announce their selections on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. in the Police Department Community Room at 2500 East Lake Avenue.

The candidates will provide brief remarks including their background, their approach to village government and their perspective on issues facing the village.
