New Political Party Seeks Candidates In Glenview

The Glenview Next Party is hoping to have candidates in place for the Glenview Village Board election in April 2021.

GLENVIEW, IL — If you live in Glenview and you're thinking about running for elected office, a new political party might be interested in talking to you. The Glenview Next party, which classifies itself as nonpartisan, is seeking candidates for the Glenview Village Board election on April 6, 2021.

Glenview voters will be deciding on a village president and three trustee seats in the consolidated election. Each will serve a four-year term. Any registered voter residing within the corporate limits of the Village of Glenview for at least one year as of Election Day (April 6, 2021) is eligible to run for a position on the Village Board, according to a press release from the Glenview Next party.

Any Glenview resident interested in joining the Glenview Next campaign, either as a potential candidate to the Village Board or to assist with the campaign, is invited to email glenviewnext@gmail.com, according to the release. Party officials ask residents to respond by Friday and include their name, address, phone number, and your area of interest. A representative from the Glenview Next team will contact residents, according to the release.
