North Shore Art League 8th Annual 'inchworks' Fine Arts Show Opens Thursday, November 20 at the Winnetka Community House

North Shore Art League 8th Annual 'inchworks' Fine Arts Show opens Thursday evening, November 20 with wine and cheese reception 6:30-8:00 pm

The North Shore Art League will open its eighth annual ‘inchworks’ Fine Arts Show this year on Thursday evening, November 20, 6:30-8:00 pm. The wine and cheese reception will be held in the League’s gallery space on the second floor of the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Avenue, Winnetka.

The Small Works Show includes images no larger than 144 square inches in size. One hundred fifty pieces of art representing painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and mixed media will be exhibited. The show will be on display -- with most artwork for sale -- through Monday, January 12, 2015. As always, this show comes at a perfect time for holiday gift-giving. The crowds who frequent NSAL’s gallery have come to count on this show as a great place to purchase quality art at affordable prices.

Revenue from the show is dedicated to funding the NSAL school and outreach endeavors. The North Shore Art League is a not-for-profit organization, now in its 90th year, dedicated to enriching the human spirit and the life of its community through art education and exhibitions. For more information about its quality classes, workshops, programs and special events, contact the NSAL office at 847-446-2870 or visit its website, www.northshoreartleague.org.
