Northfield Township Pantry Receives Gift From Planet Fitness
Food Insecurity Alleviated Through Local Businesses

The Northfield Township Food Pantry was honored with a $2,500 donation as part of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of the new Planet Fitness center in Glenview.
Township Supervisor Shiva Mohsenzadeh who received the check from Chris Short, Director of Public Relations & Community for Planet Fitness, stated, “We are grateful to Planet Fitness for supporting us as we work to combat food insecurity in the township. During the pandemic need has increased, and generous business partners help us fill more plates.”

Northfield Township serves the residents living in most of Northbrook, Glenview and part of Northfield. We provide a variety of services that enrich lives while solidifying the infrastructure and safety of our communities.
