Elvina Gassman Levin nee Chessen, Age 100.
Beloved wife of the late Alfred Gassman and the late Leonard Levin. Loving mother of Dr. Merrill (Beverly) Gassman and Karen (the late Bob) Thompson. Proud Nanny of Debra Gassman, Sharyl (Eduardo) Gonzalez, Aaron (Naomi) Gassman, and Gideon Thompson. Cherished great-grandmother of Nesa Gassman, Jacob, Rachel, and Zachary Gonzalez, Tamar, Hirshie, Eliana, Nechama, Tzophia, Rachel, and Keren Gassman. Dear sister of the late Edith (the late Dave) Buchbinder, Emma (the late Frank) Nussbaum, Goldie (the late John) Armanda, Henrietta (the late Herman) Schapiro, Jerome (the late Shirley) Chessen, and Estelle (the late Roy) Zola. The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff of the 5th Floor at the Lieberman Center. Service Monday 12 Noon, at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Westlawn.
