Park Plans to Replace Maintenance Facility

Bidding for the replacement of a Glenview Park District maintenance facility destroyed by fire five years ago will begin in February.

The Journal & Topics reports that Park district commissioners approved the move to replace the east park district garage on Roosevelt Avenue at their January 15 meeting.

Once bids are received, they will be reviewed by a committee. The earliest the project could be approved is March, with construction being a possibility in early spring.
