'Party Like It's 1999' At Blocktoberfest In Downtown Glenview

GLENVIEW, IL — Make sure you're wearing some purple later this month at Blocktoberfest 2023. The community event is scheduled for noon to 11 p.m. Sept. 30 along Glenview Road, between Church Street and Pine Street.

Headlining the musical lineup is The Prince Project, an Ohio-based Prince and the Revolution tribute band. The Prince Project will close the festival with a two-hour set. Organizers said there will also be local classic rock, funk-soul and German bands performing at Blocktoberfest.

Entry to Blocktoberfest is free. Food and beverages, including craft beer, wine and hard seltzer, will be available for purchase.

In addition to the music and food, there will an activity-filled Kid Zone with crafts, face painting, balloon art and more, running from noon to 4 p.m.

Headline sponsor for Blocktoberfest is Fields Jeep & Lexus. The fest is presented by Friends of Downtown Glenview and Ten Ninety Brewing Co.
