Passport Program Invites Shoppers To Explore Downtown Glenview

A wide range of businesses are participating in the program, which includes a prize drawing.

GLENVIEW, IL — Friends of Downtown Glenview is inviting residents and visitors to take part in the Downtown Glenview Passport Program, a weeklong event aimed at getting people to explore local businesses.

The program runs from May 29 through June 6 in Downtown Glenview and centers on visits to participating shops and services throughout the area.

According to Friends of Downtown Glenview, participants can pick up a passport booklet at participating businesses and collect stamps by visiting locations across Downtown Glenview. People who complete their passports by visiting a designated number of locations by Friday, June 5, will be eligible to enter a prize drawing.

Completed passports must be turned in by 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at the Finale Party. Participants must be present to win.

The program will end with a Finale Party on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Patio Shops parking lot. The event is set to include food, music, games and activities for all ages, with a focus on celebrating the community and supporting local businesses.

The list includes Aaron Galleries, Blended Health & Smoothie Bar, Chicago.Wine, Estetica Hair Design, Gigi’s Closette, Glenbrook Remodeling, Glenview Cycle, Glenview Grind, Glenview History Center, Glenview Public Library, Glenview School of Arts, Goode & Fresh Pizza Bakery, Hlavacek Florist of Glenview, Imperial Nails Glenview, Misericordia Sweet Heart Shoppe, Morning Glory Flower Shop, Oil Lamp Academy, Raphael Jewelers, Tony’s Shoe Repair, Twelve Tone Music School, Undressed Alterations, Velvetpeel and Viccino’s Pizza Company.

The Downtown Glenview Passport Program is intended to strengthen connections between local businesses and the community while drawing attention to the variety of offerings in the downtown area.
