Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Car In Glenview
The identity of the 35-year-old man has not been released pending verification and family notification from the Tuesday night incident.
GLENVIEW, IL — A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a car in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. The deceased is a 35-year-old man, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, but his identity has not been released pending verification and family notification.
Glenview police responded to the incident at around 9:40 p.m., according to a news release. The Glenview Fire Department transported the pedestrian to Lutheran General Hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation and was not injured in the crash, according to the news release. No charges have been filed at this time.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined. The crash remains under investigation by the Glenview Police Department with assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force’s Major Crash Assistance Team.
