Pedestrian Struck By Metra Train In Glenview: Fire Department

GLENVIEW, IL — A person was in critical condition Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a Metra train in the 2300 block of Lehigh Avenue. The pedestrian was treated at the scene and taken to Lutheran General Hospital, according to a news release from the Glenview Fire Department.

Fire personnel responded to the incident at around 12:02 p.m. Assistance was provided by Glenview police.

Authorities said the scene has been turned over to Metra police.
