Lauren E. Minkler, 31, of the 10-20 block of Palatine Road, Prospect Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 12 p.m. Jan. 27, after a traffic crash investigation at Willow Road and Sanders Road. She was released on bond.

BATTERY

Mihee Choe, 35, of the 1600 block of Independence Avenue, Glenview, is accused of two counts of battery, resisting arrest, obstructing identification, and was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 23, following an investigation of an incident reported on Jan. 19 in the 2200 block of Willow Road. She was released on bond.

INCIDENTS

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION

A Wheeling resident was cited at 9:29 a.m. Jan. 24, for suspended registration, no valid driver's license, expired registration, failure to wear a seat belt following a traffic stop in the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 1000 block of Castilian Court reported at 5 p.m. Jan. 24, their wallet had been stolen while they were shopping at a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road.
  • A Glencoe resident reported that between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18, someone stole a cell phone from them while they shopped at a business in the 2900 Patriot Boulevard. The complainant was able to track the cell phone to an address in Chicago.
  • An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive called police to report that between 9:57 a.m. and 10:04 a.m. Jan. 28, two females stole a large amount of clothing from the store. The females fled the area in a brown vehicle.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 400 block of Wilmette Avenue reported that at some time on Jan. 25, someone forced the front door of their residence and entered the home.

STOLEN VEHICLE

A Zion resident reported at 3:10 p.m. Jan. 25, their vehicle was stolen from a driveway in the 200 block of Mark Drive while it was parked with the key fob inside the vehicle.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A resident in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive called police to report that between Jan. 25 and Jan. 26, someone stole the catalytic converter from under their vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot at 2500 Waterview Drive.

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee of a business in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road reported that at 12:01 p.m. Jan. 27, someone stole four bottles of liquor from the store.
  • An employee of a business in the 2700 block of Old Willow Road reported at 3:04 p.m. Jan. 29, a male placed clothing items into a bag and left the store without paying. The male fled the area in a white vehicle.

BATTERY

Police responded to a business in the 1800 block of Tower Drive at 11:48 p.m. Jan. 29, for a fight in progress. Officers spoke with two men who admitted getting into an argument about the outcome of a movie they just watched.

BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE

A Chicago resident reported that at some time between 12:30 p.m. and 1:05 p.m Jan. 30, someone stole the catalytic from under their vehicle, a 2013 Hyundai, while it was parked in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Road.
