The Problem With Generational Gaps
Dr. Clatch writes about the problem with generational gaps.

It is the oldest woe of the parent generation: the daunting task of motivating and inspiring the next generation of young adults. Be it based in political or social views, economic status, technology, pop culture and beyond, generational gaps make it difficult for established adults to connect with younger groups. This creates a system in which the young are often disenfranchised from their predecessors and society in general. Older generations may find it difficult to understand the perspective of younger people, and may thus choose to malign their perceived intentions. Unfortunately, this situation is one that is often bidirectional in nature. Older and younger generations often believe that they have little to nothing in common. This lack of understanding can negatively impact individuals in both generations and society as a whole.
