Recycle Pumpkins at Glenview Smash Contest Saturday
Roll your old pumpkin down Flick Park sled hill for one more boo-rah.

Just because Halloween is over does not mean the fun has to end. The Glenview Park District is hosting a pumpkin smash and bash.
Bring leftover pumpkins to Flick Park sled hill Saturday at 3:40 p.m. for a fun competition. After rolling them down hill, they will get smashed into piles of compost to help nourish spring plants, according to the park district press release.
“Go green by helping to clean up the newly smashed pumpkins and learn about composting,” it said.
