Resident Flees Unwanted Knocker; Employee Never Returns Ride: Glenview Crimes

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department as a record of police activity and of incidents reported to the police. An arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges are merely accusations by the state. All defendants are innocent unless their guilt is established in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

On May 30 at 12:15 p.m., Marco Sanchez, 45, of the 5200 block of South Damen Avenue in Chicago was arrested in the 7800 block of 183rd Street in Tinley Park on an outstanding Glenview Police Department bond forfeiture warrant.

AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT
On May 30 at 8:10 a.m., Rendani Mulaudzi, 31, of the 2000 block of West Skyhawk Avenue in Waukegan, was arrested for aggravated identity theft after an investigation occurring in the 1900 block of Chestnut Avenue between January 2017 and March 2017.
FAILURE TO GIVE INFORMATION AFTER ACCIDENT
On May 30 at 6:40 a.m. Emanuel Lozeanu, 29, of the 2500 block of Waterview Drive in Northbrook was arrested for failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle after an investigation into a traffic crash that occurred on May 24 in the 2500 block of Waterview Drive. Lozeanu was released after posting his driver’s license as bond and given a court date of July 7 at 10:30 a.m.
RETAIL THEFT
On May 27 at 4:16 p.m., Howard Creinin, 74, of the 2500 block of Salceda Drive in Northbrook, was arrested at the Jewel in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road and charged with retail theft after stealing several items totaling about $125. He posted a $1,000.00 D-Bond with a June 22 court date.
WARRANT ARREST
On May 28 at 12:28 a.m., Jesus Francisco-Estrada, 21, of the 500 block of Dogwood Lane in Mount Prospect, was arrested at a business in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue on an outstanding Schaumburg Police warrant for failure to appear. Francisco-Estrada was turned over to the custody of the Schaumburg Police Department.
AGGRAVATED RESISTING ARREST & DRUNK DRIVING
On May 26 at 1:30 a.m., Mohammed Osman, 26, of the 500 block of Lotus Lane, was arrested for aggravated resisting arrest, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a BAC of .08 or more, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, and no rear registration plate after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Greenwood Road. Osman was held for a bond hearing.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
On May 25 at 12:24 a.m. Michael Lundquist, 52, of the 200 block of Glendale Road, was arrested for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after an investigation into a traffic crash that occurred on May 18 in the 2700 block of Central Road. Lundquist was released after posting a $2000.00 D-Bond and given a court date of July 3 at 9 a.m.
DRUNK DRIVING
On May 24 at 11:18 p.m., Loretta Rice, 61, of the 10400 block of Dearlove Road, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a BAC of .08 or More, and driving without headlights after a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Central Road. Rice was released after posting a $1000.00 D-Bond and given a court date of 9 a.m. on July 7.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
On May 24 at 9:19 a.m., Daniel Crespo, 32, of the 3500 block of Belvidere Road in Park City, was arrested for driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a traffic crash in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard. Crespo was released after posting a $1500.00 D-Bond and given a court date of 9 a.m. on June 19.
DRUNK DRIVING
On May 23 at 12:39 p.m., Magdalena Domanska, 39, of the 3200 block of Sanders Road Unit in Northbrook, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Harms Road. She was released on a $1000.00 D-Bond and given a court date of 9 a.m. on June 22.
DRUNK DRIVING
On May 19 at 9:05 p.m., Wade Smith, 46, of the first block of Park Drive, was arrested in the 800 block of Shermer Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, BAC over .08 and improper lane usage. Wade was released on a $1000 D Bond with a court date of 1:30 p.m. on June 16.

STALKING
On May 22 at 4:40 p.m., a resident in the 3100 block of Mary Kay Lane reported someone had been constantly following and yelling threats at them.
THEFT
On May 23 at 11:52 a.m., an employee in the 2700 block of Central Road reported between April 17 and April 21 someone had stolen items from their desk for a reported loss of $510.
TELEPHONE HARASSMENT
On May 23 at 1:46 p.m., a resident in the 2000 block of Valor Court reported someone sent multiple unwanted text messages.
IDENTITY THEFT
On May 23 at 3:55 p.m., a resident in the 1400 block of Pleasant Lane reported someone filed several outside state and federal government agency tax returns in their name.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS/BURGLARY (FROM MOTOR VEHICLE)
On May 23 at 11:59 p.m., a resident in the 600 block of Clearview Drive reported someone entered and removed items from two of their vehicles while they were parked in the driveway for a reported loss of $250.
BATTERY
On May 24 at 10:06 a.m., a resident of Chicago reported someone grabbed and attempted to kiss them in the 4100 block of Cove Lane.
FRAUD
On May 24 at 11:38 a.m., a resident in the 700 block of Laramie Avenue reported someone asked them to purchase $400 in gift cards and provide the numbers and activation codes in order to receive a refund. The reported loss was $400.
STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE
On May 25 at 5:43 p.m., an owner of a business in the 100 block of Elm Street reported an employee was supposed to take a work vehicle containing supplies to a jobsite, but they never arrived or called. The reported loss was approximately $37,000.
THEFT
On May 25 at 7:57 p.m., an employee in the 3600 block of West Lake Avenue reported items were missing from a purse which was in the office for a reported loss of $160.
IDENTITY THEFT
On May 26 at 11:53 a.m., a resident of the 2400 block of Fontana Dr. reported someone had used their information and used an ATM card to make several purchases totaling over $11,000.
IDENTITY THEFT
On May 27 at 1:40 p.m., a resident of the 2100 block of Golf Court reported someone used their identity and Citibank Mastercard to make purchases totaling about $1,000.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON
On May 27 at 2:52 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 1100 block of Vernon Dr. for the report of suspicious people handing out fliers and going in people’s backyards. Officers spoke with two subjects. These subjects were handing out fliers and were told not to go in people’s backyards.
THEFT
On May 27 at 2:58 p.m., a resident of the 100 block of Lincoln Street reported on May 22 at 4 p.m. they had chained their bicycle to a pole at in the 900 block of Harlem Ave. and on May 25 it was gone.
IDENTITY THEFT
On May 29 at 2:22 p.m., a resident in the 900 block of Kenilworth Lane reported on May 5 they learned someone had filed for unemployment checks in their name for a reported loss of $566.19.
HOME INVASION ATTEMPT
On May 29 at 2:42 p.m., a resident in the 37oo block of Greenleaf Avenue in Northbrook reported hearing a loud pounding on the door and a voice yelling, “Open the door!” The resident fled out the rear door to a neighbor’s residence.
IDENTITY THEFT
On May 29 at 5:46 p.m., a resident in the 1800 block of Westleigh Drive reported someone made two unauthorized withdrawals from their bank account. There was no reported loss.
