Revisiting 'The Axis of Evil'

In his 2002 State of the Union Address, President George W. Bush delivered a memorable (and, many would say, unfortunate) line. He identified Iraq, Iran, and North Korea as constituting ”an axis of evil, arming to threaten the peace of the world.” Well all three of those nations are very much in the news today, though they certainly don’t function as an axis or bloc.
