DOMESTIC BATTERY

Steve J. Czosnyka, 34, of the 200 block of Nora Avenue, Glenview, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 2:13 p.m. Dec. 21. He was processed and held for a bond hearing on Dec. 22.

  • Alfarooq Al Bandri, 23, of the 9100 block of Stevenson Drive, Des Plaines, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested at 2:48 a.m. Dec. 22, following an investigation in the 900 block of Shermer Road. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Feb. 3, 2023.
  • Brian C. McClure, 62, of the 200 block of Bohland Avenue, Bellwood, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device, illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:44 p.m. Dec. 24, in the 2500 block of Chestnut Avenue. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of Feb. 28, 2023.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

A 40-year-0ld Buffalo Grove resident is accused of driving with no valid driver's license, and was arrested at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 25, following a crash investigation in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue. She was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of Jan. 19, 2023.

ASSAULT

Samuel J. Bova, 36, of the 4500 block of Lilac Avenue, Glenview, is accused of aggravated assault to a peace officer, and was arrested at 8:56 p.m. Dec. 25, after an investigation of a 911 call. He was held for a bond hearing on Dec. 26.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

  • Employees of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten Road reported at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 20, three women exited the store with six bottles of alcohol bottles without paying for them. The females left the area in two separate vehicles.
  • Employees of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 11:51 a.m. Dec. 20, to report six men exited the store with shopping baskets full of alcoholic bottles without paying for them. The men left the area in two separate vehicles.
  • An employee of a business in the 2800 block of Pfingsten road reported at 3:52 p.m. Dec. 22, a woman concealed an unknown bottle of alcohol and a bottle of apple juice in her purse and left the store without making payment. The woman was wearing a yellow jacket, black hat, black pants, and a medical face mask. The subject left in a beige Ford Explorer.
  • An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 23, three women walked into the store and placed various fragrance bottles into their bags. The employee approached the three females, but they ran out of the business and fled in a dark-colored vehicle. Total reported loss is $1000.

TRESPASSING

An employee of a business in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 2:17 p.m. Dec. 20, a patron refused to leave the business.

FORGERY

A resident in the 500 block of North Branch Road called police at 10:10 a.m. Dec. 21, to report someone without authority altered a check the resident mailed through the United States Postal Service last month.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A resident in the 1400 block of Lehigh Avenue reported at 11:13 a.m. Dec. 21, someone three tires to their vehicle during the overnight hours. Total reported loss is $300.

BATTERY

A Wilmette resident called police at 9 p.m. Dec. 21, to report being struck in the face by a resident of Northbrook during an argument in the 3900 block of Glenview Road.

BURGLARY FROM VEHICLE

A resident in the 700 block of Harlem Avenue called police to report that between 11:50 a.m. and 4 p.m Dec. 16, someone removed the catalytic convertor from their vehicle while it was parked in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue.

IDENTITY THEFT

A resident in the 100 block of Radcliffe Court called police at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 23, to report someone attempted to use their personal identifying information to open a Chase Business Bank account.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

An employee of a business in the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 5:51 p.m. Dec. 25, being threatened by a customer.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

A rideshare driver called police at 6:23 a.m. Dec. 26, to report being kicked by a customer in the 600 block of Windsor Road.
