'The Rock House' Set to Open in Glenview This Month

Newest Chamber member to offer place for music, coffee and as a party venue.

A music school that doubles as a coffee bar is set to hold its grand opening in Glenview later this month.

According to a release from the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, The Rock House Coffee Bar & Roasting Company will make its official debut at 1742 Glenview Road on Saturday, April 18 from 4-11 p.m.

“We’ve had several requests, from Glenview residents, to open a Rock House so when the time came to move forward, we took a closer look and it seemed like the kind of community we wanted to become a part of,” owner Chris Karabas said.

“The Rock House Coffee Bar & Roasting Company is a laid back environment with rock designs and paraphernalia throughout,” according to the Chamber. “ The café doubles as a music/party venue that hosts a variety of events and student showcases. They serve up ear pleasing music, organic teas and coffee that is roasted in the café by their own Roast master.”
