GLENVIEW, IL - Students at one Glenview elementary school helped a local non-profit collect items for the homeless and those in transition.

A week-long drive at Avoca West Elementary School resulted in a large donation of goods for Journeys - The Road Home, a Palatine-based group that helps the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless by providing shelter and services.
