Thieves Steal Medicine From 2 Stores: Glenview Police Blotter
The incidents occurred on successive days at businesses on Waukegan and Glenview roads, according to police.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

David Serrano, 36, of the 1800 block of S. 48th Court, Cicero, is accused of two counts of retail theft, and was arrested at 10:30 a.m. May 17, at the Cook County Jail. The charges stem from an investigation of incidents reported on Feb. 21 and April 1 at a business in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road. He was released on bond and back to the custody of the Cook County Department of Corrections.

Jolyene Chiarella, 34, of the 7200 block of W. 107th Street, Worth, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash, and was arrested at 3:14 a.m. May 18, following the investigation of a traffic crash at East Lake Avenue and Harms Road. She was released on bond.
BOND FORFEITURE
- Roman Diaz, 21, of the 40 block of North Branch Road, Northfield, had a warrant out of Glenview for bond forfeiture after failing to appear in court, and was arrested at 10:02 p.m. May 18. He was released on a D-bond and was assigned a court date of June 13.
- Adan Villalobos-Carrilloe, 21, of the 1000 block of 10th Street, Northfield, had a bond forfeiture warrant out of Cook County for possession of 100 to 500 grams of cannabis, and was arrested at 10:11 p.m. May 18. He was held for bond hearing.

INCIDENTS
BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident in the 4700 block of Larch Avenue reported that at 5:30 p.m. May 16, while their vehicle was parked at Community Park West, 1001 Zenith Drive, an unknown person shattered a rear passenger side window and stole items from inside the car.
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee of a business in the 2500 block of Waukegan Road called police at 3:09 p.m. May 17, to report a female subject placed liquor bottles into a shopping cart and left the store with the items without paying for them.
- An employee of a business in the 3300 block of Glenview Road reported at 8:14 a.m. May 19, a male stole medication items from the store.
- An employee of a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road reported at 7:31 p.m. May 20, someone stole an unknown amount of medication items.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Glenview resident was cited at 8:34 p.m. May 17, for no driver's license, a motor vehicle lamp violation, following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
THEFT
- An employee of a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported at 11:14 a.m. May 18, a female stole items from the store and is believed to have stolen from the business before.
- A resident in the 900 block of Queens Lane reported that between May 17 and May 18, someone stole their mailbox.
- A Prospect Heights resident reported that at around 11 a.m. May 19, while at a business in the 2200 block of Willow Road, someone entered a locked locker and stole personal items.
FORGERY
- A resident in the 1100 block of Castle Drive called police at 1:30 p.m. May 18, to report someone stole two personal checks, mailed from the Glenview U.S. Post Office, and cashed them at an unknown bank.
- A Magnolia Street resident called police to report that between May 17-18, someone used their identity to withdraw money from a personal bank account.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A Burnham Court resident reported at 8:05 a.m. May 19, someone removed the front license plate and iPass transponder from their parked vehicle while the vehicle was parked in a parking lot in the 4000 block of West Lake Avenue.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The Village of Glenview Public Works Department reported at 10:35 a.m. May 19, that someone broke the glass out of the staircase doorway on the upper level of the parking garage of 2701 Aviator Lane.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Gurnee resident was cited at 1:12 a.m. May 23, for having a suspended driver's license, no insurance, expired registration, following a traffic stop in the 4000 block of West Lake
Avenue.
