  1. Kohl Children’s Museum - 2100 Patriot Blvd. - Reviewer from Chicago states: “Though you can go anytime, just when it gets depressing due to the crappy winter weather, this is the perfect place to bring the toddlers and let them let off steam and learn. There are plenty of things to do for the kids that are interactive. You can work with them, or there are places to sit, if they tire you out. The staff is friendly, and there is plenty of parking. Afterwards, you can always pick a great restaurant for lunch or dinner in the nearby mall.”
  2. The Grove - 1421 Milwaukee Avenue - Reviewer from Chicago states: “ It is a wonderful place to see, no matter what the season. You can visit the indoor nature center and see the turtles and fish, etc... or the teepee and learn about native American culture.”
  3. Historic Wagner Farm - 1510 Wagner Road - Reviewer from Geneva states: “The farm is quite entertaining for any age. The history is educational. The food and entertainment were excellent with wonderful service. An awesome venue with great atmosphere.”
  4. Oil Lamp Theater - 1723 Glenview Rd. - Reviewer from Northbrook states: “Easy to get to with abundant parking available. Beautiful lobby reception area; snacks, BYOB with no charges. Good cast for a moderate price. Good value for the dollars spent.”
  5. The Glen Club Golf Course - 2901 W. Lake Ave. - Reviewer from Bloomington, Ill. states: “Beautiful golf course and clubhouse. We enjoyed dining on the terrace while watching golfers come in on the 18th green. Very friendly to non-members as well.”
