Traffic Shifts and Lane Reductions Begin This Week at Grand Avenue I-94 Exit

Improvements set to be made as part of Grand Avenue Interchange Project.

Work on two ramps at the I-94 Grand Avenue (Illinois Route 32) exit in Gurnee will cause traffic shifts and lane closures this week.

Set to begin on Monday, March 9, the ramp bringing traffic from westbound I-94 to eastbound Grand Avenue will be reduced to one lane for reconstruction - part of a $19.4 million Grand Avenue Interchange Project set to be completed this year.

Another project carrying westbound Grand Avenue traffic to eastbound I-94 to the left for reconstruction is also set to begin Monday.
