Travel Site Names Glenview A Top Place To Live In Illinois

GLENVIEW, IL — Describing it as the perfect place to raise a family in a "tranquil suburb with a tight-knit community," an online travel website recently included Glenview in its list of the "13 Best Places To Live In Illinois."

According to Nomad Lawyer, Glenview made the list for a number of reasons, including "excellent schools with a high graduation rate and low unemployment."

Also included on the list with Glenview are: Buffalo Grove, Naperville, Springfield, Elmhurst, Northbrook, Champaign Urbana, Oak Park, Peoria, Clarendon Hills, Galena, Leland Grove and Schaumburg.

The website also touted the pool at the Glenview Park District's Park Center, along with its fitness center and preschool.

"There are plenty of parks in the area along with the unique Park Center offering an array of outdoor activities," Nomad Lawyer said of Glenview. "Although the cost of living is pricey, there is a high median household income too."
