Unclaimed $1 Million Powerball Ticket in Glenview Nears Expiration
Time is running out for the holder of the winning ticket from the Jan. 13, 2016 drawing. It was sold at a Citgo gas station in Glenview.

GLENVIEW, IL - A $1 million Illinois Lottery Powerball ticket sold in January has yet to be claimed.
The person who has the winning ticket has until Jan. 13, 2017 to claim the prize at one of the lottery’s five prize centers in the state.
The winning ticket matched all five numbers - 04, 08, 19, 27, 34 and the Powerball (10) - from the midday drawing on Jan. 13, 2016. It was purchased at the Citgo Food Mart at 915 Greenwood Road in Glenview.

The Citgo owner already claimed its $10,000 share of the prize for selling the ticket.
Lottery prize centers in Illinois are located in Des Plaines, Chicago, Springfield, Rockford and Fairview Heights.

If no one claims the prize before it expires on Jan. 13, the funds will be transferred to either the state’s Common School Fund or the Capital Projects Fund.
